Introducing the All-New Twitch Tips

When I originally purchased twitchtips.com and all its content a while back, I made a promise to myself. I wanted to make the website look better than it previously was — and I think I succeeded. Transferring everything from WordPress to Squarespace was an exciting time for me. It was a fresh start with new beginnings. But then I hit a creative roadblock… Squarespace just wasn’t cutting it for me anymore.

With my recent discovery of HostPapa and Elementor, I knew it was time to make some big changes. Ironically, the website — and everything associated with it — would have to move back to WordPress. I knew a lot of work was at hand, but the creative payoff would be worth it. And you know what? I’m quite happy with the results.

Introducing the all-new Twitch Tips, a website rebuilt completely from the ground up. With this new iteration, you will quickly realize how much of a focus community is at stake. The homepage was redesigned with content in mind, as well as providing first time visitors with a quick glance at what to expect from the website. It really is a different vibe, and I could not be more pleased. This is the vision that I have truly had since the beginning.

So, what’s new exactly? Pretty much everything… but to make things easier, below is a breakdown of the most significant changes:

REIMAGINED HOMEPAGE: Get a quicker glance at what Twitch Tips has to offer. From the latest articles to featured videos submitted by the community, there will always be something new to discover.

GETTING STARTED ON TWITCH: Are you new to Twitch? Perhaps you’re looking to pick up on a few beginner tips? The all-new Get Started page is perfect for you. Stop on by to check out featured posts and videos, in addition to streaming gear for those streamers on a budget.

VIDEOS: Videos submitted by the community are now more prominent and easier to navigate. It’s also easier to submit your video to be featured on Twitch Tips! Just go to the Contribute page and fill out the form.

STREAMER SETUPS: Looking for ideas on how to improve your gaming setup? Get inspired by browsing photos of setups submitted by streamers like yourself. This is also a great way of plugging your Twitch channel.

BUYER’S GUIDE: Perhaps my favorite addition to Twitch Tips, Buyer’s Guide is a one-stop destination for purchasing streaming gear based on your spending budget. Looking for a new microphone? New gaming monitor? Not a problem. Twitch Tips has you covered.

CONTRIBUTE: Featuring your content on Twitch Tips is now easier than ever. Simply fill out the form to submit a blog post, setup photo or YouTube video. Every form of content is accompanied with a link to your Twitch channel, which could potentially lead to thousands of clicks.

Needless to say, I’m very excited to see where this takes Twitch Tips. Between community setup photos and the introduction of a buyer’s guide, the focus on community this time around is huge. Of course, all of this means nothing without your contribution, so submit your content today. Just go to the Contribute page to get started.

Keep an eye on my YouTube channel for updates regarding Twitch Tips. The website is already receiving thousands of impressions every month, so there is definitely some potential there. Your support is much appreciated!
