While I consider myself primarily a console gamer, I do enjoy a good game for Mac or PC every now and then. Granted, it's been years since I put a lot of time into constantly having my fingers in the "WASD position," but the interest is still there. Come on, I did used to be a minor World of Warcraft addict, which brings me to the topic of this post.
Last weekend, my friend Jesse introduced me to the Razer Naga Molten Special Edition gaming mouse. Essentially, it's a peripheral designed with massively multiplayer online (MMO) games in mind. Despite the fairly steep price tag of $79, I was pretty impressed. Personally, I have never used any of Razer Naga's products, but I can tell they put a lot of thought into the overall design and usability of the Molten. All of this can be seen in the unboxing video below, as well as some beginner's tips.
So, I have to ask -- Is a gaming mouse truly worth the $79? I'm interested in knowing how Mac and PC gamers respond. As you're already aware, and just for the sake of repeating myself, I am primarily a console gamer, so the standard Xbox 360 controller is just perfect for my needs.
